2014 39th Cold Kiwi. New Site at Horopito

The 39th Cold Kiwi will be on from Friday 5th September to Sunday 7th September, the new site is at Horopito, on the western side of Mt Ruapehu.
The gates will open at 2pm on Friday. The online shop will open in June, a downloadable entry form will be available then as well.

There has been some confusion as to what is happening this year and for the future of the Cold Kiwi.
So here it is . . .

Cold Kiwi 2013 was cancelled. Cold Kiwi is not over, we will be back in 2014, in a new location . . .

In the meantime, join the Facebook Group

Cold Kiwi 2014 will be at the new location at Horopito . Maybe someone has got confused with the Cold Duck which is a Dead Duck , however Cold Kiwi lives on and the 39th event which had to be postponed last year is definitely on this year . Dates will be confirmed.
To get there you turn off State Hwy at Horopito , stop at the railway crossing and then carry on past the Auto wreckers (aka Smash Palace) proceed down Matapuna Road for a few kms and then turn right

We found some T Shirts left over from a couple of years ago . V Neck Ladies style sizes 12 14 and 16 .
Colours White or Black . Contact Us or email to info@coldkiwi.co.nz
Also we have the new flyer for 2014 , if you know of of really good place to pin these up and would like to help the cause please let us know www.coldkiwi.co.nz

Dates for 2014 have been confirmed . Traditionally it has been held the first weekend in September and coincides with Fathers Day Sunday . This year Cold Kiwi will be at Horopito which is on the western side of Mt Ruapehu . The track into the new site is shorter and less challenging than the old site . Bookings will open in June . Keep in touch with us at Facebook .

Also a bag of  ladies clothing found on the track after Cold Kiwi 2012 . 1 pale  green merino top , 1 pair of jeans , 1 black jersey , 1 polprop black and thermatec striped long johns.

Cold Kiwi has found  a new home for COLD KIWI 2014 . The club is  moving to a new location on the western side of Mt Ruapehu . Keep in touch with us on Facebook and start counting the days to September 2014 which will now be the 39th Cold Kiwi.
